Doctor prescribed me duphaston 10 mg twice a day as i had irregular bleeding & period came after 2 months. on 8th day,i had pap smear test to know i have cyst.after test,my bleeding increased and its daily.can i take duphaston while i am bleeding?

Duphaston is a progestin. Constant use will provide contraception close in effectiveness to oral bcp's. Bleeding can also result from a pap smear while chronic cervical inflammation is concurrent. Consult your gyn physician about low dose oral bcp's, and ask about chronic cervicitis, which can be treated with cryotherapy with good success.
