Yes, your health would be affected by poor sleep hygiene. For adults at least 6-7 hours of sleep are recommended per night. Going sleep deprived may result in poor eating habits as well, specifically eating at night that will result in weight gain. Unless having to work at night would suggest having your sleep routine adjusted.
