I have eczema on my right hand fingers.but my skin is dry and oily(combination skin)also i have acne and pimples. my mom also have eczema, but her skin was also dry and oily typ.so my question is eczema is always present in dry skin individuals only?

People with eczema overreact to the trigger. Dry brittle skin with cracks can make entry of trigger substance easy, hence your observation of association between dry skin and eczema is a good one but dry skin does not cause eczema. Eczema can make skin dry, red, chafed & thick. Other common triggers are nickel metal, soaps & cleaning solutions, fragrances, neomycin,bactroban etc. Hope it helps
