No, that situation should not be considered as rabies exposure. You will be fine.

The infected saliva of a rabid animal can survive on surfaces for a day or more and can transmit the infection through the mucous membranes of your mouth. Since it's a brain infection the symptoms are neurological . I don't think you have rabies. You can call your local department of public health and get advice.
