I was on antibiotics for 3 days.my covid vaccine date is tomorrow.it has been 2 days im off the antibiotic.can i still take the vaccine?im taking moderna vaccine?

Past or concurrent use of an antibiotic will have no effect on the benefit of the vaccine. I would go get it and not worry about this at all.

Agree with Dr Ferguson. Antibiotics are not a contraindication to be vaccinated. Since you are set to go, get your "jab".

It is a messenger RNA vaccine hence should have no adverse effects due to antibiotic use besides antibiotics by enlarge are not immunosuppressive. That means they do not affect your immune system.

Go ahead and get your vaccine. The immunity against the virus is not correlated to the effect of the antibiotic, which is treating bacteriae. Remember that the vaccine may produce some symptoms that may look like your previous infection ( body aches, headache, fatigue, even fever) . Don’t restart your antibiotic without consulting your doctor. But for the shot: you’re free to go.
