Both pain and visualizing even moderate fresh bleeding after a bowel movement can cause syncope or fainting. Hemorrhoids are the most common cause of rectal bleeding, but get a referral from your physician to a colo-rectal specialist or even a general surgeon for a definitive diagnosis.
