Websites say Bifilac is a probiotic. Doctors generally don't feed "supplements" to babies unless there is a long tradition of doing so by local professionals, and benefit has been seen without seeing harm. We usually let babies thrive on natural nutrients, which means breastmilk until solid foods after 6 months of age. Differences in gut microbes do matter, but differences are not well understood.
