While there is a temporary "hold" on the "J&J vaccine", the affected individuals represent a statistically minimal number compared to those who do well with the J&J vaccine. All of the clinically tested vaccines for COVID (J&J, Pfizer and Moderna) prevent reliably the serious complications of COVID, including hospitalizations, need for respirators, and death.

The chances are good that you have some antibodies from the vaccine so it is likely you will have less severe disease, if you were to get a COVID infection. Your antibody response will continue to increase as time goes by so your protection will get even better. So glad you were vaccinated prior to your exposure. Keep wearing masks, hand washing and social distancing to keep from being exposed!

THE PROBLEM IS YOUR OF THE AGE WHERE THERE HAS BEEN SOME BLOOD CLOTS AS SIDE EFFECTS SO WATCH FOR ANY SIDE EFFECTS AND CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR. J&J IS STLL VERY SAFE IV'E HAD IT AND AM ABLE TO HELP YOU.

Yes the vaccine should provide some protection. Typically the immune system starts to protect you after 10 days from taking the vaccine although the full protection takes more than 3-4 weeks. With you using the mask in addition to having taken the vaccine, you are not likely to have severe disease. So relax and go around doing your routine chores.

Unfortunately, to be fully protected from severe disease with any of the brands of vaccine, it’s necessary to give 2 weeks to the body to Mount the complete immune response against the virus. You are not yet at 2 weeks, but you were careful in wearing mask all the time ( maybe not at 6ftdistance). We hope masks were well sealed on the sides to be effective.Keep up with all measures. Time will tell
