If you are otherwise healthy and just skinny, do not try to gain weight. As you age, you will gain weight and look back fondly at this time when you could eat and not get fat. I am not clear on why you need to gain weight. I know of no evidence that gaining weight will make someone like you live longer and healthier. Discuss with your Drs.
