Hemorrhoids: Nice description of hemorrhoid bleeding. Keep a good balance of fiber (5-6 servings of fruit / vege a day) and hydration (enough liquid to have clear urine 4-5 times a day - not what you get with beer or coffee) and he should have durable relief. Otc hemorrhoid rx may help. If not, or if the bleeding or pain worsens he may have a higher grade of hemorrhoid or fissure and shoul see a doc.

Hemorrhoids: Your symptoms indicate hemorrhoids. You might have internal hemorrhoids which tend to be painful. It needs to be checked to be certain. Try to go to the bathroom for bm only once a day and don't strain hard. Also fluid intake makes the bm soft and fiber makes it bulkier which helps as you don't strain that hard.
