It is unfortunate that your mother is so sick. I am sure you hope she is comfortable. With an advanced illness, a frank discussion needs to be made. It shoulds like you should have a discussion with her and the family about her desires and plans if he needs to be intubated or her heart should stop. I wish you, and your family peace.
