You have every reason to be upset. Management of your fear , however, will require support. Ask your GP to recommend a qualified mental health professional.

Agree with emotional support, and have found that cognitive-behavioural therapy has been a very efficient and effective approach. Biofeedback can teach control measures to deal with fears.
