Anesthesia?: I presume you had a general anesthesia. If so, a sore throat for a few days is not unexpected since you had a tube put into your trachea via the throat. Not knowing what your age is, can't tell about the hot flashes. As for the headaches, it might have been from caffeine withdrawal if you are a regular coffee drinker.
