Sometimes patients will tell you they were having a dream as the awaken, but usually after a very short anesthetic

Sleep...: If you are having a general anesthetic, you will find that it is just like falling asleep. Most people do NOT report dreams. They wake up in the recovery room after their procedure and have no memory of even rolling back to the operating room. They usually ask "Is it over?" or "When do we get started?"
