I have sharp stabbing pain in my back left thigh and buttocks that's been increasing getting worse every day. my thighs also feel like they're swelling inside like they're ready to explode. is this something to go to the er for? for a possible dvt?

A physical examination and more details are needed to provide a proper assessment. Based on the limited information I have several ideas: back nerve inflammation or a circulation problem. I wish I could be sure of what level of care you need, urgent care or emergency room. Maybe you can try telemedicine for now.
