A member asked:

Is there an easier way to tell without a medical diagnosis if you're having pacs or pvc in your heart?

Palpitations can be the result of several things, one of which is PVC.

The most reliable way is by getting an ECG in a single recoding or with continuous ECG monitoring (Holter) to ensure that that the heart rhythm is recorded for an adequate length of time. Also remember that premature beats may occur in an otherwise healthy heart. Documentation will go a long way to reassure you or to undertake further testing IF INDICATED.
