A member asked:

Pacs or pvcs, which is more common? one dr said pacs were more common but usually not as symptomatic, are pacs more common in normal hearts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PACs PVCs: In my experience PACs are somewhat more common in people with structurally normal hearts but can be just as symptomatic. However since there is a fully compensatory pause following a PVC, the next normal beat feels more forceful than the next normal beat following the incomplete compensatory pause following a PAC. One is usually feeling the normal beat after the pause more than the extrasystole.
