My hcg rose from 119, to 185, to 304, and now to 893 over the course of one week. i am currently 4 weeks, 6 days. does this seem normal for my hcg to increase later and not double right away? or does this mean ectopic pregnancy?

There is considerable variation in HCG levels in normal pregnancies. If you have any concern, see your doctor who may perform an ultrasound examination in a few days to establish the location of the embryo. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
