A member asked:

I am suffering from bells palsy. my eye on that side is not focusing properly and interferes a bit with what my other eye can see. if i put a patch on the bad eye, will that delay my recovery? i am thinking not because it is really a nerve issue..?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, you should patch the eye on the affected side, as the blink response is not normal, and the possibility of a corneal abrasion is real. Once the motion recovers, you will no longer need the patch. Are you working with a doctor at this point? Perhaps find a neurologist.
