SOME THOTS: Bilateral issues suggest that this is NOT just simple Bell's palsy, and instead may represent a different process. Eye pain with a blind spot raises questions of an optic nerve inflammation. Suggest visit to neurologist, as several different explanations may need to be considered. I would test for sarcoid, MS, vasculitis like lupus, etc. We might be able to help further via Concierge service.

Neurologist: I agree with the other doc. Bell's Palsy is a diagnosis of exclusion. See a neurologist promptly to rule out other disorders.
