A member asked:

When washing and rinsing long hair in shower, which position has lower risk of getting water in ears?: bending over, or not bending over?

There is typically no issue with getting water in your ear unless you have had tubes placed or other ear surgery. A normal healthy ear has a membrane called the ear drum which blocks off the outer ear canal from the middle and inner ear areas. Fluid cannot cross this membrane. Occasionally there is a problem with too much moisture in the ear canal, but this is typically not with showering.
