I requested my health records and there are some that are encrypted. why encrypt some and not other? who would have a machine readable computer? i've asked my docter if she would take a look. not now. also unrelated documents who can help me?

Your primary care provider is the ideal person to help you in deciphering your medical record information. If you have a psychiatric issue, the record may not be released in its entirety. It is not feasible to review your record in this forum. Wish you good health!

Some health related issues, such as psych or HIV status are encrypted as a supplemental patient privacy protection so that only clinical persons directly involved in your care may access them. That might be the reason for the delay as extra time and permissions are needed in order to access them.
