Yes: many reasons: Emotional: no human contact. Physical: no exercise, muscle fatigue from disuse, visual strain and eye dryness. Financial: you could be working. Relationships: less interactions with real people. Legal: get busted for hacking. Intellectual: you could be studying. Cognitive: not enough complexity to interactions. Psychological: unrealistic expectations; immediate gratification is not real world.

Good Question : The fact that you are raising the question suggests that you may be aware that using the computer may be interfering with other aspects of your life. While the conditions that you mention of headaches and migraine may be exacerbated by constant computer use, social isolation and sometimes obsessive preoccupation can also be the result of too much time on the computer.
