A member asked:

If my glove accidentally touched the bottom of the needle (furthest away from the end that injects into person) and my glove had hepatitis b on it what's the risk of infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Risk to whom? If you have Hep B, there is no risk to you. If you touched the needle, after the injection, there is no risk to the recipient. How would your glove have Hep B on it unless it was contaminated with blood for body fluid of a person with active Hep B? There is effective vaccine for Hep B and you should take it.
