The bare skin that touched the needle would need to have an open area with visible blood in order to exchange blood. And, the person would need to have HIV. Intact bare skin would not be able to exchange HIV. If you are unsure, you can get tested. But, I think the risk here is exceedingly low. Good luck to you!
