Eustacion tube dx: You might have fluid in your middle ear - the fluid is not infected but causes pressure - like you've been up in a plane but couldn't "pop" your ears. The eustacion tube is a tube connecting the middle ear to the back of your throat. In some people it closes more easily and pressure in your middle ear does not stay equal to outside pressures. It's not a sinus problem. Chewing gum can help.

You may be right: The symptoms you describe could be due to a sinus problem. You could try an over-the-counter decongestant to start with, .
