Several specialists: Depending on what the autoimmune disease is and what part of the body is affected, you can see a variety of different specialists: rheumatologists, dermatologists, endocrinologists, and even neurologists. A rheumatologist would be a good place to start.

Family practice : It depends on what autoimmune disorder and which organs are affected. If i get a positive ANA test on someone i usually refer to a rheumatologist to start the work up.
