Absolutely can not get ureteral stent removal or vasectomy without general anesthesia. it's psychological and absolute. how can i get insurance to consider it medically necessary so they will cover general anesthesia? do have vericolcele. advice?

Ask your doctor for referral for anesthesia consultation well in advance of the procedures. There are approaches you may find acceptable that would not be considered general anesthesia. Ask about "conscious sedation" -- properly done, a patient may be technically awake but with zero awareness or memory of the procedure. Good luck.
