Quite possbly - Yes Think of the heart's contractions being like a wave motion frm top to bottom starting at the top in the sinuses. If the wave of contraction is irregular then the beat will be off and the wave interupted. It can be disquieting to experience your heart almost jumping back in to gear. But the latent rhythmicity is about once a second.

1-2 seconds “frequently” is unusual, but certainly possible. If it occurs frequently, it should be possible to document. ECG documentation and an otherwise normal physical examination would be reassuring with regard to coexisting cardiac problems of concern.
