Yes: if your heart rate constantly runs > 100, and you have palpitations, it would be best to continue the beta blocker

Depends: Usually not required for physiologic ST, unless episodes are prolonged or occur often, because the rapid heartbeat does not allow enough time for the heart to fill before it contracts, so blood flow to the rest of the body is compromised. Underlying causes are treated if present (WPW - medications or ablation may be needed to control PSVT. Try: Cut down coffee, alcohol, quit smoking, get more rest
