No: Fluid retention can result from a severely underactive thyroid but with a TSH of 2.2 your thyroid seems to be working fine. Your low ACTH is puzzling but the normal cortisol is reassuring and I don't think you have a severe adrenal problem

Low Thyroid Water?: 65F with normal Thyroid tests asks can water retention be caused by thyroid problems.Not likely as thyroid is normal but very severe low thyroid can do this. The most common problem with water retention in CHF is that you are eating more salt than your heart and kidneys can get rid of. Recommend you move to DASH eating plan with Na

Most likely no: if one has CHF the primary cause for fluid retention if heart failure and thyroid has very low effect on this diet,medications for hesrt failure are the key in treatment
