Went to a dentist today & he cleaned out my infected tooth, put antibiotics in it, a cotton pellet soaked in antibiotics & a temporary filling in there so the tooth can drain into the cotton. is it ok tho that i can taste the sourness from my tooth?

You may be tasting the medication from the cotton which sometimes leaks from under the temporary restoration. You should be fine.

TASTING THE SOURNESS WILL REMIND YOU TO RETURN FOR A ROOT CANAL INORDER TO SAVE THE TOOTH. THE TEMPORARY FILLING SHOULD BE LOOSE SO THE ABSCESS CAN DRAIN AND THE COTTON SOAKED PELLET IS ALL YOU REALLY NEED.MAKE SURE YOU RETURN TO THE DENTIST IN 5- 7 DAYS. IF SWELLING OCCURS BE PLACED ON ORAL ANTIBIOTICS.
