A member asked:

I had ultrasound for lump on r shoulder. findings: complex with septations & slight intrinsic blood flow. radiologist suggested ct w& w/o contrast. then, i found lump on l chest above breast. my pa ordered a chest ct w contrast. is this correct test?

You're US showed what sounds like a cyst. You might want to have a surgeon look at it (both lumps) in order to avoid an unnecessary radiation. Same for the chest lump. An ultrasound may be all that 's needed.
