Usually Mild moist warm water compress help to open blocked breast ducts. Yes, there is always a possibility of breast infection with breast feeding especially if the baby is approaching Teething Time. Infection might also require some antibiotics and other tender care. A visit to the Gynecologist or PCP should be considered soonest.
