What do you suggest if my left breast. it also itches something fierce. could it be a clogged milk duct or maybe an infection of some kind?

Breastfeeding?: It sounds as if you are breastfeeding? If so a clogged duct can present as a tender red area of the breast. The itchiness also concerns me for a yeast infection, especially if the nipple is involved. Try a warm compress on any red area tonight, be sure the baby is draining the area by compressing the milk ducts in that area. See your physician if this is not better in 24 hours, may need yeast rx
