I have a cut with fat sticking out of it, i cant tell anyone as im in a psychiatric hospital. will it heal by itself. ive put a dressing over it?

It may need sutures, it may become infected, it may start bleeding. Best to let the staff know so you can receive proper care for both emotional and physical problems. May well heal with minimal complications but may scar substantially.
