Typically, when an infant has constipation, it is because they need to be fed more frequently or with more volume. A typical 2 month old will take 4-6 ounces every 3-4 hours. Start with an easy to digest formula such as NAN HA. Avoid giving anything other than formula. Especially avoid thickened formula as this can constipate.

I would suggest a non cow milk formula. There are many options - soy, elemental protein formulas. Make sure whichever you choose is iron fortified. Iron in infant formula does not cause constipation, contrary to popular belief.

Another option would be to pump/express milk; most likely to reduce a constipation problem.
