Your surgeon made a judgement that your supraspinatus/ subscapularis tendon tears were not severe enough to repair. A rule of thumb is to repair a tendon that is torn to a depth of 50% or more. Your labral tear/SLAP lesion was taken care of with the detachment of the biceps tendon from the insertion that was torn and transferring it and then reattaching it. You had the best surgery for you.
