Consider any surface you touch that is a site that people touch & has not been sanitized recently to be a possible source of germs. If you sanitize your hands frequently & do not touch your face/eyes/nose after touching those surfaces you will be fine. I use a fine mist of 80% alcohol to sanitize almost all materials. It evaporates quickly & kills the viruses in less than a minute.

Although surface contamination can lead to transmission of COVID 19, it is mainly spread by droplets. Consider use of hard surface sanitizing wipes if you are concerned about handling plastic bottles from the grocery store.
