I have a red splotchy kind of rash over n around the sight of a tegaderm bandage for a rib tattoo. doesn't itch but i also have nasal congestion like an allergic reaction that benadryl helped. no swelling/hives. should i be concerned? home treatment?

People can develop allergies to the adhesive used in bandages or from the ink used in tattoos. Both are possibilities given the symptoms you describe. You could start with removing the bandage, cleaning the wound and applying a cortisone topical cream.
