The thrombosis has been controlled with the medication. Continue to monitor with your labs and PCP. If you notice swelling, the clot may have returned. Watch for changes and report to the PCP.

Nice thing about Xarelto is you don't need to keep checking labs all the time. PT check if having surgery, and do need to be off medication several days prior to elective surgery as there are no reversal agents. Quite safe unless at risk for fall as that could cause more risk of bleeding that can't be easily reversed if a fall occurs. Company has savings programs to help with copays on medication
