It's possible: It’s very provider-specific, so you will always have to ask. Given your mother’s complicated history with clots, it will not be surprising if she stays on Eliquis during the procedure, as they may be able to give a local agent to help with the bleeding. Nonetheless, it is very much for the oral surgeon to decide in consultation with her cardiologist and/or hematologist as a team.
