In the begging ,patients get excessive salivation and pain in teeth which might look like difficult to swallow the saliva but gradually it improves . If within a week of wearing the Aligner , the condition does not improve, you must see your Dentist for adjustment . In the mean time ask your Dentist to prescribe pain medication before you see him/her

You may simply have a sore throat. Call the Dentist or Orthodontist that providedmthe retainer for instructions

if you had one of those Direct-to -consumer aligners , then possible the aligner in the back teeth area is irritating your tongue and your gums and causes difficulties to swallow . Definitely the best recommendation is : go see a QUALIFIED dentist
