I take meclizine 25mg twice a day and lamotrigine 100mg twice a day for focal seizures. have been on lamotrigine for less than a year. is it ok to drink small amount of alcohol..on a rare basis..like one beer for example?

Alcohol moderation, such as "one beer" would likely be safe, but high amounts could be deleterious. To be extra safe, recommend checking a lamotrigine blood level, and adjust dosing if necessary to maintain a therapeutic level.
