My dad has a stomach pain for almost 4 days now, i think he experience it after drinking 2 types of alcohol in the same day. he can't eat well because of that, because he feels tired every time. any ideas how to resolve it? thanks?

First, he should abstain from any alcohol. If available, he should take an acid suppressing medication such as Famotidine (Pepcid) or Omeprazole (Prilosec) daily as a trial for one week. If pain goes away, he should continue to use it for 2 months so it can heal either gastritis or peptic ulcer. However, this remedy cannot eradicate Pylori related peptic ulcer disease.
