Anal tears are painful. Aspercreme Lidocaine can numb the area for a couple of hours at best. Depending on the cause, you need to change your habits. If constipation caused this, you need to focus on eating a diet high in fiber rich fruits, vegetables and lots of water and low in high fat foods.
