Low platelet: Her platelet count is low; however, it may be better to repeat the test in a couple of months before you get concerned. All lab results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that.

Follow it: This is not dangerous yet, and probably never will be, but it would be nice to know why. A few women have this happen at the end of every month. Your physician may look to see if her platelets are coated with antibodies or antibody-antigen complexes.
