A member asked:

What does it mean when on a pulmonary function test you have normal spirometry but also hyperinflation with trapped air and decreased diffusion capacity. could this be copd or is this normal ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

How does any test apply to me? To answer that it should be understood that tests results are taken into account with the things the patients, says, the examination, lab tests, and all other diagnostic tests. This may be a less common lung issue, COPD is possible but seems less likely. Speak to your doctor
