Elevated CH50 results indicate that your body is producing a higher level of complement proteins which are typically found in infection or inflammation. It is a measure of the activity of your immune system. High levels are seen in Viral infections, Ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, Leukemia, and Non Alcoholic fatty liver disease. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, why was this outdated test done? In the meantime, start exercising. Begin with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity so that you sweat profusely.
