Glans and foreskin are raw and bleeding after candida. docs said use desitin but not healing. when dry foreskin tries to attach to glans. any way to speed up healing or should i leave it dry? will foreskin detach after healing if left to dry?

3 steps: Cure infection with clotrimazole based cream, then allow time for healing of post infected skin (up to 10 days), use desitin or other barrier to allow area to heal without scarring. In the meantime, do not have unprotected sex (you are much more susceptible to STD's) and avoid any abrasive actions that may disturb the newly growing skin.

Suspect you need anti fungal treatments. Desitin is soothing, but offers no anti fungal activity. Phone the doc who examined you and review your condition to see if the doc wants to add oral, topical, or both measures to the treatment plan. Dark, warm, moist facilitates these organisms,while the opposite suppresses them. Good luck
